dc.description.abstract A comparison of the fertilizing power of fresh and stored sheep semen has been obtained the slaughter of ewes three to six weeks after insemination and the recovery of developing foetuses. Fresh semen resulted in 75 per cent of foetuses while 24 hour stored, undiluted and diluted semen yielded 47 per cent and 32 per cent of foetuses respectively.
