Abstract:
TABLE 1 Diets for chickens on all treatments The individuals meatmeals in the diets were analysed for calcium and crude protein content using the method of the A.O.A.C. (1955). Correlation and partial correlation analyses were used to examine the relationship between weight gain, feed intake and percentage calcium. The calcium and crude protein contents of oven-dry meatmeals and the weight gain and feed intake of chickens given the corresponding diets TABLE 2 419 V. ACKNOWLEDGMENTS The author wishes to thank Mr. L. Hiley for maintenance of the experimental chickens and Mr. A. Solvyns for analysis of feed samples. VI. REFERENCES C HEMISTS ( 1955).
