dc.description.abstract	The Australian feedlot industry today is playing a pivotal role between the meat processing sector and the cattle breeding sector. This situation has been slowly developing over the past 10 years as a feedlot sector has been growing and the advantages of using feedlots to finish cattle have become more accepted by both meat processors and breeders.
